SMA® Follow-on Milk is expertly tailored for babies’ tiny tummies to meet the specific growth and immune requirements of infants over 6 months.

As is required by law, the micronutrient content is aligned with the composition standards for infant and follow-on formulae, ensuring that SMA® Follow-on Milk meets the specific nutritional requirements for follow-on formula.

Babies are born with a good store of iron that lasts them until they are around 6 months old¹. After this their iron requirements change, and iron rich foods need to be introduced as part of a varied and balanced diet. SMA® follow-on milk contains 1mg of iron per 100ml² which contributes to normal cognitive development of children.

SMA® follow-on milk contains Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) intake contributes to the normal visual development of infants up to 12 months of age. The beneficial effect is obtained with a daily intake of 100 mg of DHA.
