Newborn baby looking uncomfortable and fussy

Common infant feeding issues

In the first few weeks and months of your baby’s life it is not unusual to come across a few feeding issues or tummy troubles along the way. Most feeding issues occur in the first six months of your baby’s life and are usually resolved by 12 months. This makes sense when you think that your baby’s digestive system is still maturing and getting used to digesting milk.

Newborn feeding issues can include reflux, colic and constipation but can also include issues such as allergies and intolerances. Whatever your feeding problem, whether you’re breastfeeding or formula feeding, you’ll find the support and guidance you need in our feeding issues articles.
